The story of the eves

Indian eves became the first side to cement their place in the semi-finals of the ongoing mega event. They defeated New Zealand by four runs to secure the seat in a thrilling encounter. Shafali Varma, the rising start once again showed her calibre and scored 46 off just 34 balls after being asked to bat first. Even though she gave a good start the team could score a mere 132 runs. Then the bowling unit showed their brilliance to restrict the Kiwis to a lesser score. The low target was defended successfully by Indians and they reached the semi-finals with flying colours.
